Description
Kirkus' Review

From Sounder's creator, formula sentimentality about a tail-wagging lamb. Tawny, a spotted runt, is a triplet rejected at birth by his mother, abused by the other sheep, and scorned by the shepherd. But Dingo the sheepdog is Tawny's friend and protector, and Tawny, admiring, becomes more and more like him. Then with the shepherd and Dingo off for supplies, a wolf makes his appearance. The sheep leader cowers with the rest of the flock, and it's Tawny, playing dog, who scares off the wolf with a growl louder than Dingo's--and wins a warm pat from the shepherd for his feat. Soppy. - from Amzon
